The band Believer started putting out two song EPs with the promise of a full length album after releasing 5 of them. They unfortunately only made it to #3 before abandoning ship. Im guessing the sales simply weren’t there to justify the time and expense, which I always found to be wildly disappointing. The music really tested their fanbase, apparently, as it was much more progressive, alternative rock, more akin to bands like Tool than the previous thrash output they were known (and rightly loved) for. The other issue fans had, and this one I agree with, were the weirdo bondage sm covers. Those rightly alienated a lot of their listeners, too. And while I definitely think the art should be ignored, the music was incredible, especially the tongue in cheek titled “imagine dragons.” We got a glimpse of the band that was to come and never got the finished vision. Why say all this? It’s simple. First, give those EPs another try. And second, as a physical media collector, I was always frustrated we never got a physical release, so I designed a cover for the EP using Canva, utilizing an original image there - I don’t use AI. I titled it “SENIO,” which is Latin for the number six (another translation for “six” is apparently “sex,” but I thought that might be a smidge confusing and SENIO sounds cooler anyway).
