Originally a side project between Scott Albert and Doug Mann, Mindwarp was released on R.E.X. Music in 1992 under the moniker "Brainchild". R.E.X. wanted Klayton to make a second Circle Of Dust album, but there wasn't enough money so they re-released this album as the second Circle of Dust album, with the same cover artwork and layout but under the title Brainchild.
